Winemakers Tasting notes
Rich and rounded, the ‘winemakers’ Sauvignon Blanc. Elegant and complex with fine flavours and beautiful, delicate texture. Stone fruit, lemon zest, smoky oak and nutty aromas and flavours combine with subtle herbal and attractive cedar undertones. Dry to taste, the palate is creamy, rich and softly textured. Bright acidity frames the palate for a lengthy and complex finish.
Drinking well in it’s youth this wine will age gracefully and reward further careful cellaring.

93 Points: Barrel fermented/oak aged Sauvignon that retains typical grapefruit and guava Sauvignon Blanc character together with hints of hazelnut and butterscotch from oak and yeast lees influence. The wine shows impressive richness and weight while a lengthy finish reveals concentration and power.
