Chardonnay Marlborough

Winemakers Tasting Notes

Intense and complex, with golden straw hues and aromas of ripe peaches, apricot and citrus. The wine is rich and powerful on the palate with juicy tropical and citrus fruits, melon and a nutty oak and buttery influence. A fine texture, this wine is voluptuous with a long, elegant finish.

Cellaring

Drinking well in it’s youth this wine will age gracefully and reward further careful cellaring.

Suggested Food Pairing

Pasta alla Cabonara, Seared Scallops, Pumpkin Ravioli

Decanter World Wine Awards 2014

A massive mouthful of wine awaits in this complex Chardonnay which is full to the brim with layer upon layer of white peach, citrus, biscuit and even butterscotch. A creamy, oaky, mineral finish is the icing on the cake.
